Loughborough Town Hall is recruiting to the role of Events and Hire Officer.
Loughborough Town Hall is a multi-purpose receiving house theatre, Art gallery, and venue, set in the heart of Charnwood in Leicestershire and welcoming over 100,000 people per year.
Hosting over 250 performances and events per year, including an award-winning annual pantomime, Loughborough Town Hall has a varied programme attracting nationally acclaimed acts and productions across the world of comedy, drama, musical theatre, and beyond.
Loughborough Town Hall was also honoured to receive the Best Entertainment Venue as part of the Leicestershire Tourism Awards 2023.
The post holder will be key in developing and successfully attracting new events, functions, and business hires into the venue while being able to offer the perfect ideas and solutions, no matter the event type.
You will be the first point of contact for functions and room hire bookings and lead customers from initial enquiry to contractual and settlement stages of the booking, liaising with internal terms to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.
A natural communicator with a keen attention to detail, we are looking for candidates who will inspire confidence from wedding bookers, and independent businesses to local theatre societies.
A working knowledge of Marketing/Promotional campaigns is desirable, but not essential.
This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, with opportunities for hybrid working.
Grade C (SCP8-12) £24,702 - £26,421 per annum
